The full and varied Activity Programme has been carefully planned by the Principal, who has over the years, liaised with overseas schools and teachers, to develop a structured Leisure Programme, most suitable for Young Learners, in the 11 - 17 age range. All activities, as programmed, are included in the Course price.

On arrival in Poole, students will receive the programme for their stay, this will outline all the School sessions and the daily activities and excursions. 


Our well planned sports activities are an important part of the course, a variety of activities are offered and are all included in the course price.
Tennis, mini golf and water sports take place  in the tranquil setting of Poole Park.

The facilities of the Tower Park complex are combined into our programme with the exciting Splashdown Water Park , cinema and bowling.
Bournemouth is close by and afternoon visits can include – beach walks, Rock Reef Clip and Climb, Cinema and Shopping.

All sports activities are fully supervised by our teachers and leaders.
In the evenings and at weekends our Activity Leaders are available to organise extra activities (please note that where these are programmed, they are included in the Course Price, otherwise a small extra charge is made).


The programme of full day and half day excursions has been designed to offer our students a view of English Life and Culture, through visits to include our  natural landscape as well as cultural and historic venues. 


Visits will include a selection from:

The World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast - with visits to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Corfe Castle.

Beaulieu – the stately home of Lord Montagu - with the National Motor Museum and Palace House. This trip can be combined with visits to the New Forest.

The ancient city of Salisbury, with the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge, close by.

The historic city of Bath, with The Roman Baths, The Museum of Costume, The Circus and the Royal Crescent.  This venue fits very well with our Literature Classes on Jane Austen.

Visits to Oxford will include a sightseeing Coach Tour – an entrance to one of the Colleges, general sightseeing and shopping time.

All of our groups visit London.

With entrances to one of the main attractions,  The London Eye, The Tower of  London – or a visit to The Globe Theatre to see a Shakespeare production.   A sightseeing tour is organised and there is always time for some shopping

Other Trips include:

Portsmouth with a visit to HMS Victory – Lord Nelsons Flag Ship at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Winchester, with guided tours of the city and entrance to the Cathedral
The National Trust Property of  Kingston Lacy House – Wimborne, with the Minster and Friday morning market.

Southampton with a guided visit to  The Titanic Museum 


The old town of Christchurch with its Priory and famous headland at Hengistbury Head.

Boat trips are arranged to Brownsea Island, in Poole Harbour - the home of the boy scout movement, it was here that Lord Baden Powell set up the first boy scout camp.
